Canadian Nurse Practitioner Licensure Exam (CNPLE) Preparation Course

COMING SOON!
This online, self-paced course will prepare participants to be successful in writing the Canadian Nurse Practitioner Licensure Exam (CNPLE).
In December 2023, the Canadian Council of Registered Nurse Regulators (CCRNR) endorsed new entry level competencies for Nurse Practitioner’s as the basis of a new single entry-level national Nurse Practitioner licensure exam. By 2026 all NPs in Canada – except Quebec and neonatal NPs – will be educated and licensed for practice across the life span and practice settings – all ages, all settings. The new regulatory exam (CNPLE) is expected to launch in 2026 (Date TBD in each Province or Territory).
This preparatory course encompasses studying approaches, exam taking strategies, overview of the exam blueprint & logistics, and content review addressing the new entry to practice competencies (click here).
Topics include the NP professional role and responsibilities as clinician, leader, advocate, educator and scholar, as well as comprehensive reviews by clinician experts focusing on etiology, diagnostic approach, advanced assessment, and therapeutic management for a wide range of health conditions across settings & the life span. Content review follows a body systems approach and will cover the NP role in management of acute, chronic and emergent/urgent needs, along with health promotion & illness/injury prevention.
