Bloomberg Nursing celebrates U of T Alumni Reunion 2025

4 June 2025

From May 31-June 2, 2025, alumni of the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing participated in U of T’s annual Alumni Reunion celebrations, which this year included a Nurses Night Out to the Jay’s Game and pre-game social at Kellys Landing, as well as the annual Breakfast with the Dean at the University of Toronto’s Faculty Club.

Close to 180 alumni and friends attended our events. As one of our family-friendly events, the Nurses Night out to the Jays game provided an opportunity for alumni to engage with the Faculty while bringing along their children and loved ones for a night of fun, laughter, and reconnection.

Sara L. (BScN 2010) attended the pre-game social and Jay’s game with her family. Celebrating fifteen years since her graduation, she was joined by her fellow alumni and friends.

“It feels amazing to be able to celebrate with classmates and family, as our professional and personal lives have changed over the years through various jobs, marriage, having kids, my alumni friends have been with me through it all,” says Sara. “These events at U of T Reunion, give us another opportunity to reconvene and enjoy a unique experience that is family-friendly.”

At the annual Breakfast with the Dean, many honoured year classes joined us to celebrate their milestone graduation anniversaries, including those celebrating their 5th, 25th, and even 65th anniversary’s. So many of our alumni stay connected throughout the decades because they value a shared bond and history created during their time at Bloomberg Nursing and throughout their journeys in the nursing profession.

In her opening remarks, Dean Robyn Stremler shared how amazing it is that alumni from across the country travel back to Bloomberg Nursing to celebrate their reunions.  She noted that as an alum herself, it fills her with pride to see how far reaching Bloomberg Nursing’s impact is across the health care system.
